Does any body know what the river crossing at fink is like? Does it normaly have water in or is it normally dry? I hear it is 500metres long and soft sand.

The river bed is dry at the moment. Should be no problem crossing it. Yeah dry sand but no water.

Very sandy If in doubt let your tyres down to 18/20psi otherwise just give it a run up. The Finke floods maybe once a year. Normally only water in pools or billabongs
