A friend of
mine has a defender 2.5L turbo diesel, for some reason the battery keeps losing charge. Dash amp meter says it is charging at 13-14. Can anyone tell me if they have had the same problem and how they fixed it, thanks.
It has new battery, clean terminals, everything appears tight.

Maybe a glovebox light staying on or something...... Hang-on,, my Gu doesnt even have one of those.... no way would a "Landrover" have one. Just could be though..... Most defender owners are very attached to their vehicles and many sleep in them on a regular basis in their own driveways, tell him to take his foot of the brake pedal whilst asleep, the brake lights are probably on...... "...no way would a "Landrover" have one."
Unless it was a Range Rover or a new Disco
How is your DVD screen in your GU?
And the headphones in the back for kids to listen, what are they like in you GU?

Me too, prefer it that way, I was just demonstrating the logic was flawed :-)
Landrover has been leading the way in opulance for some time ie Range Rover, and might I say in capability off-raod as
well. Granted build quality isn't a strong point but then you could argue that of 3,0 L Patrols as
well.
As for Defenders, not my choice even with a glovebox light or glovebox to put one in.
Cheers

HELLO ALL
Charging rate may be low .
Check with an accurate digital meter and then discuss result reference the type of battery of battery you are using .
