gu 4.8lt dual battery

need to know if anyone has done a d.i.y. dual battery system on a patrol 4.8lt,ABS?If yes, what components in engine bay did you move to make battery fit?

I do not know about the 4.8 ltr but had the experience of fitting one to a 4.2TD with ABS.

Bought a battery tray from ARB. When I got it I couldn't fit it according to their directions because of the ABS. Contacted ARB and was informed that the tray would not fit and I then returned it.

Got one from TJM and it fitted easily.

The TJM one was $110 and ARB $120.

With the TJM battery tray no components had to be moved.

Put mine in the back no room up front and it has worked well its next to the fridge and never get in the wau only get to half ot it because the other half is below the _Affordable_Storage_Drawers.aspx, i used a 1500 Odyssey and have not had one problem in 20 months.
