I had a look at one the other week but was not impressed with the quality of it, some things looked a bit too cheap, maybe that is why? No good for anyone that has just placed an order

With the campertrailer market continuing to boom, one has to wonder what went wrong. Campomatic have been around for a long time...

Thats amazing as ARB have just added Campomatic to their range of supported equipment, although I cant find it on the ARB website, its in the 4x4 mag I just read. Moony gives the Ranger unit a great rap.

I have just spoken to Campomatic and have been assured taht all is OK and they will be trading for a long while yet. In fact they are in the process of expanding their staff. I own one of their trailers and could not be happier with the product. Maybe we should not spresd rumours before speaking to the operators of the business first!!. I beleive they are going to post a response.

I would like to make it clear to all reading this thread that Camp/o/maic is not in recievership. I would also ask that pjd have his facts correct before posting such a statment on an open forum.
Camp/o/matic have appointed Administrators, and are focused on trading through this period. We are currently looking to increase staff and production levels to keep up with demand for our product. For more information the administrators, Luccas & Currie Chartered Accountants can be contacted on 07 3232 5200.
Camp/o/matic is dedicated to supplying Australians with off road camping trailers for many years to come.

Receiver/Administrator, either one means someone is having trouble paying the bills.

Though I agree, one is normally appointed when there is no hope of keeping afloat, the other is appointed when trading from any issue is a real possibility, when the staff can get on with doing the job, while the administrators handle the agreements required to ensure materials etc continue to be available.
