Time has come to replace the front rotors on the GQ, its done 450+. Been thinking about the slotted rotors from DBA. Anyone got some comments? Good, Bad, all appreciated.

Running slotted discs on my cruiser , work very well . They dont want to stop first thing in the morning for the first stop , but after that, there dynamite. make sure toy only get slotted and not cross drilled . The cross drilled build up with mud and cause all sorts of problems .

My race brake man tells me that ALL these types of modifications result in increased pad wear and that unless you are experiencing fade due to gas buildup under the pad (that you have not been able to resolve by change of pad material) then for road use you should steer clear...

Had a set of DBA'S fitted to the front of my Troopy sometime ago and they are
S H I T H O T and a bit. Its rotors all round, however the recommendatiuon was do the fronts only and have the boost valve adjusted accoringly.

Its 400% better than factory specs.

put these on my maverick 18mths ago - they were cheaper than the nissan parts. ran the same pads until just recently and have changed to really tough 4x4 pads -that's what was on the packet. eventually managed to stop them screaming by doing some filing of the edges. as for the rotors - work well no complaints - what more can you ask for. rgds
