You will have to travel light to tow a van with one and 4 adults, and camping gear etc...

Have you driven one?

My friend has a 2002 Sportage. They're a 2.0 litre 4cyl petrol in a heavy body. I wouldn't be contemplating towing anything like that with it especially with 4 adults in it. His is pretty gutless when empty.

Although when my old neighbours retired they towed a very light on road camper trailer (as in just a tent on the trailer so no kitchen etc) around Qld with a 1.6L Vitara SWB. So I suppose it can be done.

A 2 litre 4cyl KIA towing a camper trailer with 4 people in it? Sounds like a good way to cause an accident while someones trying to overtake you doing 70kph in a 110kph zone to me!

All I'm saying is don't even bother trying to tow something unless your gonna be able to do the speed limit or there will be a line of people a mile long behind you trying to pass and this is how accidents happen. Thanks for the " two six shooters around my waist" taunt/generalisation, but I think I have a better one for you. How about "Victiorians towing caravans with their Berinas doing 50kph in a 110kph zone and totally oblivious to the chaos they are causing behind them. "
