More often than not a 3 way fridge fails on 240/12 volt before it'll fail on gas. I'd try taking the back off the fridge and pulling the gas burner out and checking for a blockage. I had a
spider's egg nest in
mine once - white fluffy ball. Blew it all out and worked fine after that.
Also
check gas bottle is full (duhh!) or
check regulator is actually letting gas through to the fridge. If it works on 240/12v then there's nothing wrong with the refrigerant, just the heating/vapourising of the refrigerant is the problem.
Should be a simple fix. But watch out for any fiddly little bits when taking the burner apart.

bernie 1,
My 3 way chescold gave up the ghost on gas and upon investigation the jet was found to be blocked. Blew it out with compressed air and hey presto worked again. Give it a go.
Cheers,
Bros.

Yep - cleanliness is everything - keep the inlet hose and regulator end in a clean bag when not in use. Beenn there with a blockage - blew it clear - not funny when in the bush and you need cold !
