Truckster

Did you end up buying one of those auto transmission lock up kits for your GQ? Just wondering how they go.

Got everything but the lockup kit - lacking $$.. but will get one soon..

Awill4x4 on here has one, does a lot of towing of a house sized caravan, he loves it.

Was pretty bad wasn't it .
Yeah there are the jokes and the ones here are ok but what that dill in QLD Beatty did in his news conference was a disgrace .

Hanging crap like that on camera about storms that have indirectly killed one on the roads if not two depending if the boy at werribee was true and not a flase report .

was seething seeing it and still am

2 foot deep. Down to 1200 metres. No Alpine diesel in Mansfield (probably in all of victoria). Get additive before leaving Melbourne. RACV Mansfield has been towing diesels off the hills for 48 hours now.

Landrover Aussie assist will help. I here that they are a great service.

Hmmm not good
I am off tommorow to pick up my Prado which I left in Mansfield over the xmas break, was /am going to do the 12 huts around Mansfield tour, better pack the winter woolies :(

Having experianced the service of Mansfield RACV first hand I can honestly say they provide a good seervice.

Regards
Jason

If its a diesel, and you have no snorkel, steer clear of Kings Hut to Pineapple flat...

It was over my bonnet on my GQ with the 35's/lifted/body lift etc on and that was with 1 day of 1/100th the rain we had, that was in November.

just think warm thoughts - for instance marble bar averaged (yep thats right averaged) 45 deg c daytime max for the entire month of January. And to think I turned a job down there in November, what was I thinking?
