Just a quick message about my patrol that was bleeding an endless amout of air from the injector pump. I went out and got a large roll of fuel hose and repaced from the tank to the injector pump and now shes running great! Must have been the old pin hole in the supply hose trick that was stopping it from running. I would like to say thanks to Roachie, Davoe and Truckster for helping me out with the problem.

Block one end of the old hose, and them pump water into the hose, check where it was leaking, make sure the new one isnt going to do the same in a few months.

Good chit when its an easy fix!

Yeah i will have a bit more of a play with it over the next few days i just had to get it done quick today before the sun went down on me. I still haven't hooked the fuel lines up to the little valves for the dual tanks yet so maybe one of the valves might be stuffed and letting air in. I'm just happy its working. Its the first time I've fixed a diesel. Hope its the last!
