Camping fees at Welford & Bladensburg Nat Parks

Hi all,

Would anyone know what the cost of camping is at Welford & Bladensburg National Parks in Queensland? I am having difficulties in getting in contact with the actual Parks themselves.

Your best bet is https://www.epa.qld.gov.au/parks/iaparks/gds/
this gives you the phone numbers etc.

Hi Kermit,

I have tried contacting the parks, but no luck. I will keep trying, but in the meantime I thought someone may have visited them lately and know the fee.

I don't know about Bladensburg but Welford camping is by permit only.

We had the same trouble with Bladensburg so just rocked up set up camp and waited for the Ranger (we had no change for the self registration) after 3 days we left without having spotted the so called ever vigilant ranger.
We camped at the engine hole entering from the eastern end.

I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

All NP's in Qld are $4 night for adults, under 16yrs is free.
Visitor info sheets avail at Naturally Qld Shop (07) 3227 8185/ 3227 8186
Facsimile (07) 3227 8749 .

Both parks work on self rego system. There are staff at both parks on a regular basis, leave a message and they will return your call.
