You can get bigger replacment tanks for the hilux or you could get a tank custom made to fit under the tray.

Got a 115 litre for my 99 3 litre. Now I get 1200 kms per tank when cruising on hiway. It replaced my standard tank and needed no modifications to fuel lines, filler or guage. Just shows that it is full for about 500 kms and then runs to empty as it used to. About $1000.00 at ARB. Long
Ranger brand.

Hi gforse,
I have fitted a 110 litre tank in my 99 Hilux located where the spare tyre was. It is switched from the dash through a six port valve which enables me to draw fuel from either tank. The standard fuel gauge reads both tanks. The tank was made by K&N Fabrications in
Perth.
