Ian
had a Mazda Bravo, pretty much the same vehicle and I think your talking a Petrol?? Loaded and travelling at 95 Kms per h, got very poor economy around 14 to 16 MPG. Sold it and got a diesel 2.8 Rodeo got near 28/30 loaded with it, but the Mazda went like a rocket and was'nt to bad off road at all.
Hope you enjoy the vehicle
Mark

I used to own a 96 petrol and I was getting between 12.5 and 14.5 L/100km depending on the type of driving and if the air cond was on or off. Their good vehicles except for the very soft sand where I found myself struggling even with very low tyre pressure. Different set of tyres and a lift could have improve that.
Enjoy,
Sly.
