Hi All
I have heard that Escott Lodge (near
Burketown QLD) has new owners & now may not be open to campers etc. Does anyone have any recent info??
I haven't been able to contact them via phone & my email enquiry sent in December hasn't been answered.

Dazmitm,
I passed through there last year in Aug. and yes there were new owners but at that time there were
camp facilities and was still as nice as ever .It was actually shut down previous to that but hopefully we can enjoy that place for years to come as I just love the Gulf Country.
