Hi, I have an 86 SWB MQ Patrol and it appears that a prior owner has done a rough repair job to some rust that was in the roof section of the rear canopy and it is now coming through again, holes included. I was wondering if there was somewhere in Oz where I might be able to get a fibreglass roof / canopy. The other option is obviously to repair the rust again, and this time properly, but a new roof may be the best long term idea.

dale147,
I purchased a replacement turret for a toyota years ago from a mob in Noosa (QLD) and at that time i thought they made replacement parts for many different vehicles. The name escapes me for the moment. (old age). A long way from W.A. though.
Cheers,
Bros.

I know a guy who bought an fj shorty and paid a premium coz it had mostly fibreglass panels. He now talks about slowly replacing the panels with proper ones as he comes accross good ones coz none of the panels/doors fit properly and it is damn noisy and couldnt leak more dust with the doors off
