Just sighned up for a new job working underground so I will have to give up working in the bush around Kalgoorlie. The upside is with a 2/1 roster I will have plenty of time for travelling around and fishing. The camp is not far from cave hill and the woodlines to victoria tock and Burra rock. However my first job will be to get to Perth and Finally (I hope ) sell my camper.
Still get to drive 4wds exclusivly and in constant low 3rd (contrary to piopular belief the front diffs dont just go even in reverse)

You still going to be in Kal, Davoe? We will be there sometime in late April and would like to catch up.

Congrats on the new job Davoe, good bucks to be had underground. Is it fly in / fly out from Perth?

I had a bit of a poke around east of Widgemooltha last year and there's some good tracks around that area to check out if you can get your hands on a vehicle.

I take my hat off to you chaps that work underground.

I am far too frightened to venture underground, heights shake me up pretty bad as well.

What's the saying? Terra Firma......... the more firmer, the less terror.....

Congrats on the new job Davo - seems it is what you wanted. I think i would suffer a few phobias if i tried going underground. Found the Cocklebiddy Cave this trip, but wasn't game to go inside.

Swapping the bush for a hole sounds like you are going from the front door to the back door. Just the way it read to me. Probably shouldn't have responded really. Just made me laugh.
