Hi,
Picked up a Repco 3 way fridge 35 litres, came with power adapters, gas hose and regulator and they even through in a rechargeable fluro camping lantern.
All for $399.
Plugged in into the 240v yesterday arvo in the shed and this morning down around 0c and it even froze up a small ice cube tray that came with it. It seems not bad.
Will be interesting to see how it oes once its in the van.
Cheers

G'day Craig,
check it on gas :-)
Should work better, but if you've got a dud, you'll know pretty quickly.
Cheers.

Well,
I hooked it up to gas and it got down to about 2.5 overnight. Then when I hooked it back up to 240v it takes a while to get itself cool again, the temp went up a few degrees before it got it back under control. So this morning decided to tip it on its head for a couple of hours, as you dont know how long they have been sitting for. Anyway cant hurt, it might even get it a bit cooler.
Was thinking of attaching some aluminium foil to the Aloy baracket in side the fridge that gets freezing cold and then run the foli down to the base of the fridge in the hope of transferring some more coldness to the botom.
Try anything once.
Cheers

Hi Craig,
Let me know how you go with that.
Mine got down to -1.6 overnight but I made sure it was level. It SHOULD run better on gas than on 240v. I haven't trie this new one on 240, only cared about gas. I'll try
mine on both again and get back to you.
Cheers.
