Sounds about right. 10.5l/100km around town in the Fender (2.5lt TDI)
You've got me nervous about the 40k service tho. I'm due in about 500km.......aaaggghh!
Cheers

My R9 Rodeo, 2000 2.8 tdi, yesturday, 1186 km, 104 litres, 8.75L/100km. That's with driving around the island, driving in Rockingham, Rockingham down to
Pinjarra and Rockingham up to the City and back, so a good mixture of various speeds.
8.75L/100km is on par with usual figures.
Cheers,
Dion.

The Ute I drive is a 2004 3.0lt TDI Rodeo. Consitantly get 34 mpg on sealed roads...100kph. Running around the farms with a lot of cold starting...29 mpg.
Take the van away on a trip and average overall...26 mpg.
The vehicle has only done 14,000 kms. I know last time we took it to the Holden Dealer they charged $195 for a gease & oil change and a rough inspection. Will supply the oil and take it to the local mechanic (qualified) for future
services...while it's still under warranty.
Cheers.
Bill
