Richard, I just loaded a .plt file, exported it as a .txt file and then imported it all ok. I don't usually do this either.
Assuming you are using import and export for the .txt file and not load and save there can only be something wrong with the format of the .txt file you are trying to import.
This is the format of the .txt file that worked for me.

Thanks Ray
I tried your way and it works OK
I see what some people mite be doing.
That is opening the plt file as text files then copy & pasting or saving them as text files
Which is the wrong format for Ozie
it was worth a try

Richard...So the problem was that you were trying to import it as a text file? The data you entered above opens ok when saved in notepad as a *.plt file as ..

file/save as
a box will pop up where you can specify where you want it saved to along with a name and extension of your choice
or....right click on the file in windows explorer and hit rename, give it any name you like with a .plt extension
