Hi Friar
I travelled through that area last Aug. and stopped at Wollogorang for a drink and the access to the coast was still available but they had all sorts of conditions and rules plus it was very expensive--can't remember the cost but quite frankly I didn't find them at all friendly so we moved on.I did get the feeling that they wern't keen on people going out to the coast so I wouldn't be suprised if it is closed, although I doubt they would close the road house--too much of a money spinner.I think for your fishing you are better off going to King Ash,Limmen Bight or anywhere on the Roper River if you are going that far.Remember the fishing is better in May/June than in July/Aug.
Happy Camping!!

Agree with the owners at Wollogorang having an attitude problem. Was there last year and thought it over priced. Nice enough area but had to put up with idiots with generators running constantly, etc, etc. I know Limmen isn't on the coast but I found it better, need a boat though.
