I'm looking at upgrading my V6, SE 2002's suspension before doing the Simpson desert later this year. Has anyone got any good experience with what suits best?.
There is a lot of difference in price and design (gas/foam cell, etc) but I believe more in other's experience than the sales blurb.
Cheers.

Blackjack.

I had a OME upgrade on my 2002 Jack.
Only 20-25mm lift but a much better ride all round.

Thanks, for the replies guys.
Both OME and Pedders are on my short list.
Hey x-member vic, did you get standard length fronts shocks or longer than standard to suit the rear spring lift?
Seems like the foam cell types are preferred on vehicles like ours with torsion bars on the front.

Gday Jim, beautiful eh?, must be good enough to convince you to offload that nissan eh?

Me - I went with with full efs kit, 40mm lifted higher rate rear coils, 2.5mm thicker torsion bars and gas shocks all round. Definetly too hard on compression whem empty, but great when loaded with about 200kg or more on board.
