2001 gu cracks

hey guys just wanted to know if anybody has seen cracks in rear door of 2001gu . they are around the middle door lock and start around where glass meets body about 3inches long at the moment and getting longer .if it keeps going the door will flex to much and glass will break. sorry on the spare wheel door,note; standard spare wheel no mods . i'm not happy ( JAN) im going to go back to nissan even though it;s nolonger under warranty. just wanted to see if anybody has seen or heard ofthis problem before. any information would be greatly received.....

Have heard of this, not sure if same as yours, there is more information if you search Patrol info in yahoo groups, etc.

The same thing is happening to my 2001 GU. Was going to take it to the panel beaters to get their opinion about cause and repair. The truck is a few months out of warranty and don't think the dealers would want to know me. Suprised this has happened as we have not dne a lot of rough road travel, although it does get a bit of offroad use. Would be interested to hear how youy get on with the dealers. Good luck.

Another good carry over from the GQ, the cracking rear doors, along with the chassis in the front near the spring towers,a nd the body mounts, and rear spring towers.

I Had this similar crack on the centre pillar at base of glass on this door, Nissan had it repaired no problems under warranty.
GQ s that I have worked around did crack but in totally different
places
Hiluxes and LC80s??? dont get started on cracking of body panels!!!!!
