Back on the River

Hi Guy's from the land of the long white cloud have been back now since the begining of Feb and we are having a ball what great rivers and fishing they have over here, have spent about a week in and around Christchurch gett some maimtainance done on the Truck & Camper the it was off to Lake Olson we spent a week fishing the lake and camped right on the mighty Cluther river then it was off to the Catlins for a few day and through to Gore which is where we are now fishing the great Matuare river the river is fishing well at the moment with afternoon rises each dau i am now well over 30 fish this week, truck and camper all goong well.

Aaahhhh...for the life of an International Traveller!! Wish we could be there. Nevertheless still lots to see around here.

Glad to hear it is all going well. Just leave some firsh for us please!

Don't forget to go fishing in my old stomping ground.
The Waitaki river, There should be a few Salmon around.
Also try the Hakataramea river Fly fishing for Trout. (The Haka river is over the hill from Kurow ask at one of the pubs they will tell you)

Hi Mate we fished the haka before Xmas on open day and got 3 great fish, also fished the waitaki bthen we camped at Kurow and had a great if not wet time , we are in Wanaka at the moment and sre expecting a rough night so will drop the tent tonight and move through the oass in the morning the weather here looks bad for the next few days.

Good to see you are doing well over there, Pity about the weather.

Heres a tip If you can, Go out on a charter boat off shore fishing, You wont regret it If conditions are right you will catch more fish than you will know what to do with.

Go out off Dunedin, Those blokes know where to go.
