Does any one know when the 2005 build Patrol arrives in Australia?
Who make the cd/radio for the Patrol?

About to take delivery of a new ST-S in about two weeks, have specically requested a 2005 model and spoken the the dealer who said it wouldn't be a problem as I have requested a white one......it you want a metalic colour I am lead to believe they is a delay.
Mind you if I
rock up to pick it up and its a 2004 model....I won't be signing and driving away with a new patrol. :-)
Radio - Current mode could not tell you, but I have a 2000 GU DX which I swapped out the Cassette/Radio and it say its originally from Clarion Co Ltd.

getting the 3L
Deep down I realy wanted the 4.2 due to the flater power curve and low down touque but I just could not stretch the budget with the same options regardless of the sacrifices I would of had to of made
With what I currently do 4WDing though, I'm happy with the perfomance of the 3L's as I currently own a DX....(just upgrading with some creature comforts as the tax man is willing to help out :-)
The ST-S I'm getting is on a 5 year lease, so by the time it runs out
1: Hoping I earn more money
2: Hoping Nissan will have a replacement for the 4.2...... (like a 4.5 6cyl TD) see post 19981 for the discussion

Thanks for the reply. I am waiting for a ST-S which I am going to lease over the next 5 years. The dealer has said it should be here in March.
The question about the radio relates to being able to connect a MP3 player. Some manufacturers will sell you an expansion unit which allows you to plug your external audio source into the radio/cd player (no more bouncing cd's).
