I got a note from Toyota yesterday announcing the 2005 new, bigger Hilux will be avail in April..Hope it has not gone too soft.We bought a new Hilux dualcab (last of the live axles) and wish we had never traded it..Did a 7500km
Kimberley adventure with Portmans. What a rig. What a trip.Magic.Miss the "real" 4x4 with "real suspension".But would still, consider a new 2005 Hilux as I think they have been around Asia for 2 yrs now.Apparently they could be seen,if watching closely,in the news reports of the wave devestation in Thailand etc recently. So at least we know the motors etc have been
well tested.Hope I can still use my steel/split rim on it.Remember how 'cruisers changed from 6-stud to 5-stud when they got more powerful motors.Strange !

I know that the
pic of the interior and dash layout was very very similar to my 120 series Prado.
