Snorkel for TurboD 100

Buying a new td 100 Cruiser and wondered at the benefit of snorkel - any comments with or without

go for it , they work well . But the air filter does clog up 3 times faster . I have turned my snorkel around and this helps . Dont get the flush fitted one that sits need the windscreen . Seen some take a mouth full of water after hitting a river crossing a little to fast

You need to load up the fuel saving from 10 % to like 25 % to get SHMBO to say yes faster dude .

A friend bought a 100td auto last year, nearly blocked the air cleaner element in one weekend on firetrails in southern highlands travelling by himself too.
In standard config it sucks the air from down behind the front wheel between the inner and outer guard, not good at all.
He fitted a snorkel before the next weekend away, one of the flush ones but is aware of the fast river crossing scenario.
