Hi All,

Thinking of heading to Mitchell’s Flat over the long weekend. Can anyone please advise how long it would take to get there from the Eastern Suburbs? – and also if the trip would be ok for a well set up off road trailer?

Not sure of the quickest way to Mitchell’s, but was thinking of either:

Marysville, Matlock, Woods Point then Jamieson, Jamieson/Licola Road, Mt. Sunday Road to Wren’s Flat and onto Mitchells via Mitchells Track:

Taggerty, Thornton, turn off before Eildon, via Torbreck Stn to Jamieson, then Jamieson/Licola Road, Mt. Sunday Road to Wren’s Flat and onto Mitchells via Mitchells Track.

Does anyone have an Ozi plt file to get to Mitchells?

Any advice greatly appreciated

Hi

The track in from Wren's Flat is easy, so long as it is not too wet. No problem with a trailer.
Usually quite a few camped in there, but this weekend, everywhere will be well used.
Allow about 2.5 Hrs from Jamison from memory.

Mitchells is good.. as you come down the hill (If its wet, it will be an extremely fast trip down), go across creek,

Turn left, and to very end is a hidden 'waterfall', well water down a few rocks.

Turn right just over creek, theres the "footy field" area the size of a smallish footy field that gets PACKED TO THE BUNGHOLE...

Plenty of other areas.

I hear Murray Sunset will be MT this year... LMAO
