Tappet clearance

G'day all any one know the tappet clearance for a TB42? should i do them when the engine hot or cold?

If adjustment is being done after cylinder head or rocker arm service do it cold first then
check again after warming engine. Gap is .38mm. No 1 piston needs to be on TDC on the compression stroke.(ie. the position of the timing mark on the crankshaft pulley will be aligned with the TDC (0) mark on the timing cover and the two valves of NO 6 cyl will be rocking.....one closing and one opening).......Source
