Hello
Dingo,
Make sure the condensate drain is clear. Often they collect a leaf etc. then the water will collect and smell.
Haven't got a wet floor too? Usually a good sign of a blocked drain.
It'll be a rubber tube, 12 to 16 mm diameter open ended and hanging through the floor pan or firewall somewhere about the bell housing.
Best place to start for A/C smells.
Geoff.

Good point Geoff, it usually drops haps of water but i have not looked latly, we have this prob with tractors actualy but you soon know as the unit is in the roof and you get wet if hose blocked, we just put air comp on end of hose and blow back and fixed as its just dust thats dried into hard mud that blocks these. so i will try this wit 60.
thanks

you or previous owner a smoker?...
try running the aircon so that it makes ice and freezes then defrost the coil do this many times to rinse the coil of stubborn odours.....never tried it my self but the idea sounds as though it should work
there is a coil cleaner available from refrigeration wholesalers but the problem is getting to the coil to spray it on...

You can take it to Toyota dealer and for about $40 they will put a deodouriser in the system. Works
well.

Or buy a glen 20 pressurepac and with fan running, spray it into the inlet.
