Hi Phil,
Did you get the 6225 connected to your laptop ok?

I managed to get mine up and running plugged into the USB port with there data cable (which i got stung for $65 from the fonechoice only to find them on ebay for only $16)
I had to do a bit of fiddling but finally got it up and running and even can check my emails using outlook, not at a very fast speed but good enough for text emails. And onl for the cost of the phone call, no extra charges for Telstras special accounts that seem people seem to think they need for checking emails.
If you have any trouble just give me a yell.

Cheers

If you bought the Nokia antenna coupler (AXF-15S), you could probably work out a way of attaching it to the phone (ie a rubber band) such that it lined up correctly. It's a "proximity" type connection between the coupler and the phone, and the coupler is wired to the antenna. The coupler should cost around $40. It would look a bit strange but should work.

Tony,

I have the Nokia 6225 in my Rodeo. It sits in the Nokia cradle MBC-15s and the aerial coupler AXF-15s as mentioned by Doc above sits behind it. It all bolts together. The parts mentioned are compatable with your phone. A good place to get these items is from Organiser World. Check them out on the web at www.organiserworld.com.au

Regards,

Robert

Robert,
I was going to suggest buying both the coupler and the cradle, and using without the car kit. Then I realised that to use the phone, you would need to take it out of the cradle, and hence "disconnect" the antenna at the time when you actually need it. The 3105 does not have a loudspeaker function (at least I don't think it has).

Doc,

You do not have to remove the phone from the cradle to use it. The cigarette lighter and personal hands free plugs into the bottom of the cradle. To use the phone you use the hands free, very simple leaving the phone in the cradle

Hi I have a simular problem with my 2280. No antena socket. I have all the aerial and stuff but I cannot use a patch cable as there is not one made for this phone. I was offered one that fixed to the rear of the phone with velcro. I don't know how efficiant they are but I would have expected a manufacturer like Nokia to have a bit better forthought than that unles they are hoping that we all go out and buy a $140.00 car kit. Very disapointed

Hi,
There is a person on Ebay who sells external antenaes and patch leads etc for CDMA phones, just do a search for CDMA antenaes and he usually has a external for $79, you can email him and he usually has them for most phones.

Cheers
