Just a quick one I have a 96 hilux with the above engine when towing my camper or loading up the engine up a
hill etc it gets this knocking noise in it i have had the sump of plasti gauge the crank no problems and just for the hell of it with sump of i renewed big ends mains and the thrust washers and still have my noise to tight a to pay some one 70.00 phr to diagnose the problem any ideas of what to look for next would be appreciated. what an interesting post i just got lost after reading it for a while not sure exactly why it just made my eyes go crazy and i lost where i was at must be the novicain that i took yesterday maybe i need to get another opinion from my dictor he was not too sure why i had this reaction i could shed no light on it either

The last time
mine had a Really loud knock in
mine, I had a cracked crank at #4 big end. Caught it just in time otherwise it would have been a throw-away.

Has had a new set of injectors could it be in the puump or in the top end?
This thing is frustrating and driving me mad.
