Hi all just been reading 4wd Monthly's 4wdoty awards and curious if any Prado owners or people have heard of or suffered front diff failure on a Prado? Cheers

I've had a TD Prado now for over two years and have completed 105,000kms over various terrain, as
well as towing a two tonne camper trailer for a trip through the centre. The car hasn't missed a beat. The fornt diff hasn't had a problem.

Sambo. The son-in-law of a friend of
mine came up to
Brisbane and we took him and his Prado to a 4wd park where he blew his front diff. Toyota repaired it under warranty but a major part had to come from Japan. Toyota said they hadn't heard of the problem but the dealership said they'd repaired a few.
