We have a tinnie and outboard motor and was wondering if there was somewhere on a river like the Murray or a lake within a couple of hours of Melbourne where you could camp not too far from the waters edge for a couple of days over Easter. Have to work on Sunday so would be Thursday night and Friday and home on Saturday arvo. Could put my little tinnie in and cruise around. So many people though everywhere over Easter so just might have to do day trips.

A place like we had when Des Lexic took us to Loxton for that weekend - now that would be perfect...... but too far away!

Swam at the sand bar in Loxton yesterday , yes lovely spot .

We are thinking of something similar for Easter . Usually I take the boat to Port Arlington at the big 4 park , great spot and they allow you to set up on the sand edge if in a camper .

Havent made plans , but it's looking good
