Do Patrol wheels fit landcruiser?
To be more specific.....will wheels from a GQ or GU patrol fit my 80 Series (16")?

This Q might have been asked B4, but i sure as hell cant find it when searching.
Cheers

Hi NissanNut,

Your GQ/GU rims will fit an 80 series, but the 80 series rims will NOT fit the GQ/GU. Cruiser rims have small tabs on the centre hole to locate them centrally on the hub. This stops the cruiser rims fitting over the Nissan hub.

Note that while the GQ/GU rims will fit the 80 series, they will most likely have a different offset.

Cheers

NissanNut,
When i bought my C/T i was told that the sunraysias fitted to it were Nissan pattern. I have a HJ75 Tojo.
I tried to see if they were interchangeable and the results were as follows.
Toyota sunraysias would fit perfectly on the C/T, but be a little further out from the mudguard. (1inch or two)
Nissan would not fit on the cruiser.
All of the above was because of the dishing in the rims. One was further recessed than the other. Hope this helps in some way.
Cheers,
Bros.

Just to clarify what's above, Captain is absolutely correct. And the 90series Prados also have the same backspacing as the 80series, so patrol rims will also go on the Prado.

But the backspacing of the 75/60/40 series rims is significantly less, so Nissan rims will not fit those series LandCruisers.

Cheers
Phil

But,my understanding is,Toyota,in their infinate wisdom (? ),when the more powerful 100 series came out,did a strange thing and changed from six stud to just five studs. I know of a large operation locally that is having huge mix ups with spares.Everyone carries a spare. They only find out it does'nt fit when stuck with a flat out on a lonely road..I am interested in new Hilux coming out in April..Will it tale my you beaut split rims from my dual cab we took to Kimberleys with six studs. We ran Silverstone "Gripper" type 8-plys.Only rig out of 15 not fixing flats at nite.More wine drinking time.

Thanks guys,
So GQ/GU will fit, but have a different offset? this wont be much use to me running 33" tyres by the sound of it.

And all 100 series (inc IFS) are all 5 stud so will not fit at all....?

Thanks
