Amity point is nice , there is a ripper house near the
general store with a balcony over the water . Usually easy to book this time of year . If you type in accomodation North Stradbroke island, you will find heaps . Ask if the place has been sprayed for spiders lol . We we there is january and had a ball . make sure you have plenty of provosions , there very little on the island . Most general stores close at six pm.
Make sure you take meat fruit and veg with you .

Dave,
If its a house you want an you dont know of one in particular, safe bet would be one of the many at Point
Lookout. Some are outrageously priced, but you will find many to be very reasonable. Last house I stayed in on Straddie was a house called 'Joleynca'. It sleeps plenty and has a great deck with awesome
views out over Flinders Beach, over to
Moreton Island and then some. Was not at all expensive and had just about everything you would want. Try do a search for Ray White Straddie and
check their listings.
Easter weekend is probably booked solid. The Island is better without the masses anyway. And lastly, you must go and have a few cold ones at the Straddie Pub and enjoy that majical view.
Half your luck.
Mark
