I am trying to find the name of a supplier we saw at last years 4x4 show Melb. Unable to go to this years show because of illness. It was a pop up/roof top set up but was made of fibro on the bottom and top with the sides then being material. Any help? or recommendations. I have been reading the ?s on roof top tents and will look up those web sites.

Reckon you should call Aussie Traveller in
Brisbane (07) 3868-3868 as they have an excellent product which I. as a customer. have used for four years of trips and could not be happier !!

The description sounds like the Maggiolina Roof Tent - fibreglass top and bottom and fabric sides.
They are made by Zifer in Italy and the web site is:
http://www.zifer.it/
They are quite expensive for what they are - I think the South African made Howling Moon tent is better value - from Open Sky in Oz.
I think the Maggiolina range is imported by Outdoor World Pty Ltd

forum and I am very pleased with it.

Liz: Howling Moon and Aussie Traveller are
miles apart !! The Howling one is a unit from another continent and IMHO (in my honest opinion) is a showroom model which I reckon does not hold a candle to the Aussie Traveller ! With the Aussie you have a complete sealed unit ie. floor walls etc as an annex/Room where by day or night you have a place to eat/ change/ and wash in comfort... albeit a Pommie Wash ! ... and use aa storage for fresh changes of clothes etc.. The Howling Moon drops you in the dirt !!
Price is also an option and at last show the moon job was more expensive than the Aussie !!
