Hello,

I have just lisfted by patrol with a 5 inch spring lift. i need to extend my bump stops so my 35 inch wheels wont rip anything off if i bottom out.

does anyone know who makes after market extended bump stops or do i have to modify them my self.

If i have to modify them my self, what is the best way to do this?

Thanks

If they are the chassis mounted bump stops I have seen people bolt square tube between the chassis and bump stop.

How do you go getting insurance with that amount of lift and tyres that much larger than std. Sounds good to me if I could get it past the minister for finance but I would want it insured.

Maybe investigate if Noble Suspension supports will do the thing for you?

I have a 65 mm lift, and these (fitted in about 15-20 mins each side) might fit the bill. They certainly leave the OE ones for dead, but are designed to offer support under load, not just mere bump stops.
