hi all hope you can help, have 1999 landcruiser and need 4shockers has anayone had anything to do with monroe shockers, been to there web site and they have a new range, they are called gas magnum tdt shocks regards stan.

got them on the rear of my 75 camper and 80 station wagon - seem ok and half the price of what you can pay for other brands. have used them on non 4wd also certainly way better then overpriced rubish pedders they replaced

I ran them on a HJ60 years ago without problems. But remember you get what you pay for. If doing serious bush trips I wouldn't recommend them. Your shocks are a vital part of your steering, handling and braking system. Buy the best you can afford.

I agree with Footloose as above, an important component, if you plan to keep the car buy the best you can afford, Koni and you will not go wrong. They cost a fair bit more, but time proven design and quality backed up with a working life often 2-3 times what others will give, and the ability to re-build all 4 units for about $300 makes them a very economical option if you keep the truck for a few years.

get what you pay for!
