Hi,
If anyone wants to email him, I'm passing on his address and letting you know that he answered me overnight, which surprised me....I did not expect him to take the time.
If you decide to email him on any issue I think it's a good idea to be respectful and make any valid point you have...However in his reply he still called me an arrogant 4 wheel driver...but I did criticise him!

He actually called you arrogant? Why what was his reasoning for this? Sounds like he might be a bit of a dimwit...

He called me .. "myopic" ..and also said .."Clearly you are one of those very rare, highly intelligent pedestrians ...and everyone else is a "dope".
All I said was that I learned at a very
young age not to walk in front of moving vehicles in case they hurt me. And that making cars more bouncy was not a credible solution to dumb pedestrian antics.
Yeah.. he's probably right.

Hi jeff,
I have just realised that we are going about this the wrong way,
I now feel that we should all try and join the "Pedistrian council" this would give us better understanding of what it does.
1) Ask how we can become members?
2) How many other members does the council have.
3) Where are the meetings held, day , time, venue.
4) What are the yearly
membership fees?
5) can you please sent me a copy of the
membership aplication so that We can join.
Yours Faithfully
Aston
Lets all DO IT.

You can't reason or use logic with Harold baby, I've tried. He has his statistics and the press on his side. Should things not be going his way he just refuses to continue any discussion.

Is this an urban myth, or have you oor anyone else got conclusive evidence of this?

geez mate, i read it in a paper a while back, so its probably without fact !!
Been doing google searches trying to confirm, but all i find is a lot of very angry people, from all 'walks' of life (pun intended). EO gets a lot of hits....

I have heard somewhere (it may even have been on EO) that he had a child who was run over by a 4WD and that started him on his crusade.
BTW - Can you MM me the details of your panel beater, I need to have some repairs done!

Hi Michael,
I bet they may not even bounce!...
It's just goes to show how low the media's credability is, giving this guy the amount of air time they do...for his extreme
views.

Don't forget that the media are only in it for themselves. They only give him time because it rates. He isn't afraid to be controversial and they love it.
I have a family friend very high up in the Liberal Party and this whole topic isn't even lunch discussion. Never gets a mention as many of them drive Disco's !!!!!
It's only the small insignificant people that make the noise. Most of the rest of it is a beat up by the media. Nth
Sydney turned out to be just media hype and that
Katoomba issue turned out to be nothing too.

Perhaps the best thing we can learn from Harold Scrubby "The Pedsetrian Council" himself, is that he gest lots of press. He's a one man anti 4WD campaign and the press contact him for comment every time something involving a fourbie happens. He is relentless and he gets press space. We need to be a little more like him to counter his campaign.
Unfortunately, he obvouiusly has lots of time on his hands. But when there is an unfair 4WD story, write to the publishers and set 'em straight. The
Sydney Morning Herald wouldn't have backed away from the Coles story if we hadn't made them.

Hi Smudger,
I had to look Myopic up,I knew it had something to do with the eye's...... to find out that your are suffering from short sightedness!!
To my replies he also used ...(sic).... meaning thus or so, as it appeared in the original form.
He enjoys showing how much of a smart ass he is...a right pain in the butt.

Joe
