Did everybody get back safe?
I hooked up with Mike Harding and Mad Dog and Wombat.
Wasn't a big trip or anything like that. It was simply pleasant. I hope you got back safe and your rigs OK too.
Any stories???

Good to meet you guys and lady. Sorry I missed you Wombat - had to head off early to find a horseshoe :)
The
Easter Bunny also, very kindly, visited me - damn good job I didn't go through with the previous night's plan of shooting him and making rabbit stew - phew!
Hope you received the pics. OK guys - should have been 5 for you iMusty and 2 for you Mad Dog?

G'day,
yeah got back
home around 2130 Monday night, after deciding to head to Suggan Buggan via McKillops then onto Tantagara and Currango Plains to find the brumbys for the kids.
Great weekend camped on private property so no yahoos at
camp. Some pretty hairy
trails after the rain. We could not complete the Deddick trail after the
Bowen junction, as the lead vehicle (4.2 TD GU on BFG) could not get traction. Even if he could get up the track would be wrecked by any other attempt. So we went via
Bowen Track to Collings etc. A bit of sideways tail on some of the downhills. My youngest lost his bacon and eggs after a short time but he did not complain at all. Something funny about doing some serious 4bying while having "Mrs Pepperpot" or the "Emperor's new clothes" etc. on the stereo while the kids are colouring in.
Beautiful country, plenty of wild life. Plenty of
camp oven cooking and no vehicle probs.

Thanks for your reply.
Sounds like a great trip. I don't have kids but if I did I'd like to enjoy their entertainment while doing my stuff too.
My hat's off to you. You've got it worked out right. :-)
I got not much more I can say But your reply is one of the best things I've read in a long time.
Thankyou.
iMusty.
