According to the manual

The thermostat should open at 76.5 ºC (tropical type)(???) or 82ºC (standard type).

The water temp switch should turn on at 92-98ºC.

I know that this is not what you specifically asked for but it it may fill in some gaps for you. (Unless you already have the manual yourself, that is)

Cheers

Sorry, I was a bit quick off the mark with my response.
The operating temps are for the "sub-radiator" in the diesel E24 model (mini-bus/van, I think) not the main radiator.
Well... that was a waste of time wasn't it?

Thanks for the info even if it was not entirely correct.

Did you find the answer to your running temperature question as I would be interested as well?

I am still looking into that, no responses to anything that I have posted on different sites either. I will check back if I find anything out. And the waterpump i have already replaced, thanks for the info.

I just re-read one of your old posts regarding water-pumps.
I don't know if you found one but the correct one is the one for the turbo model and it would be a WP3119 ($180 from Coventry Auto Parts).
I just fitted one to my Terrano last week.
I think it is the same as for the Terrano II but I'm not sure.
