Hi Brian
That would be me.
You talking about the helipad on Ingeegoodbee / Mcfarlains Flat track ? We had stopped for lunch.
Were you part of the group with the Nissan fitted with the Barret and the 80 series I think it was owned by the sign writer ?

Cheers
John

Hi Brian
We had a great trip, it is just the best part of the world.

No I have not done much north of Tom Groggin, a little around the Geehi Huts and Khancoban but would love to spend some more time around that area.

Cheers
John

There was another Troopie, almost identical, up in the NE on Easter Sunday on a helipad but it was Mt Sugarloaf.

Hi John
the new vehicle has done 1600kms and is about to go in for its 1K service. Happy so far and it is quite different from the TD hilux...heaps of torque!! Wiring up a number of acc and hope to have that all finished in a week or so. Fitted Kaymar and BW drawers, BB and side rails. Got the glind shower in before Easter (for SWMBO) and finished the dual battery also...lot of stuffing around re-routing components but happy with the end result. Took the van up to Beveridges station and stayed there over Easter. Certainly do not need ride levelers even with 140Kgs on the bar. I take your point that I need to update the site picture and will do that soon. Cheers John, look forward to catching up with you soon!
