Hi Everyone,
My son is building up an FJ40 at present and my Father in Law who is a retired engineer is building the
seat frames.
I need a copy of Australian Design Rule Number 3 which covers seats and
seat anchorages just so we are sure it is all done properly before we try and get a modification plate for the job.
If anyone can help me with a copy of this rule I would be most appreciative if you could contact me. Following is a brief explanation of the rule for information only.
ADR 3 - Seats and
Seat Anchorages
The function of this national standard is to specify requirements for 'Seats', their attachment assemblies, and their installation to minimise the possibility of occupant injury due to forces acting on the '
Seat' as a result of vehicle impact.
Thanks
Brian

Brian, if you can wait, I have a copy at work, can't think where I got it from. Will e-mail it next Wednesday if you haven't got another reply by then.
