Hello everyone, Can anyone tell me whether you can get fuel at Rabbit Flats on the Tanami any day of the week or do you have to book your fuel in advance as I'm getting conflicting stories.

Any advice is welcomed

Damien

Last I heard they open and close daily at set hours, AND THEY ARE CLOSED Tuesday - Thursday inclusive ! Don't bother knocking out of hours.

You can buy fuel at Tilmouth Well Roadhouse, Yuendumu(with permission), Rabbit Flat or Bililuna. Lots of choices. Carry enough fuel if you want to bypass Rabbit Flat

The quicker we get some people who care for travellers on the tanamai track at Rabbit Flat the better for all of us.

Hi Mike,
I don't think that is going to happen soon :-)
Anyhow, there are enough other opportunities to fill up ( and cheaper ).
I travel the Tanami frequently and never worry about fuel at Rabbit Flat. Always also take at least one full jerry can with me - No Worries :-)

Cheers,
Mike (another)
