Only 8 more sleeps until our first big trip, 6 weeks Tassie and back with the Pajero and Van.
Are we there Yet?
Last minute service revealed crack in radiator, better now than on the road eh!
Regards to all left behind ;-)

Gday Russell,bring your wollies as the frosts have started,headed off to work the other morning and the mercury was nudging -2deg.Mind you we're getting beautiful days afterwards.I wont wish it on you but 3 or 4 inches of rain would be good,havent had any rain since David and Michelle were here.
Have a great trip,if your passing through Chudleigh,call into Loones and say goodaye. Nick

Rain? whats that, in South Aussie we have something called showers so they tell me but never heard of this Rain stuff. If you can tell me where to get some I would be more than willing to bring a couple of inches over on the ferry for you.
Regards
Russell

Thanks for rubbing it in Nick. I still don't believe that we timed the weather so badly.

Hey Russell - lucky you. We just got back from eight weeks in Tassie a couple of weeks back.
Doubtless it will be cold and windy and hooefully wet while you are there, but that's what makes the special climate.
Our trip was our second one, and two things stood out;
1. Tasmanians are still warm and friendly and welcoming
2. They keep on putting together new expereinces and making things better and more interesting.
What ever you plan to do, I'll bet you enjoy it. And make sure you take lots of deep breaths - that unpolluted air is something special!
Wish we were just starting out again!
Max

Might bump into you in Tassie. We go on the 10th for 12 days as the first leg of a 3 month trip. Look out for a swb gq with lots of character (dents).
