Finally set date for trip. Leaving Melbourne first weekend in June. Off to Coober Pedy, then across the Anne Beadell to W.A., then up the Canning and out to Broome, then up through the Kimberlies over to Darwin ,down to Alice and across the Simpson on the way home.Anyone is welcome to join us or in any part of the trip. Expect to do a bit of gold detecting where possible and some fishing up north too.

Davo,

Great stuff sounds like almost the perfect trip I reckon, next you'll tell us you found a 1/2kg nugget that paid for the trip!

When do you head off and how long do you plan it taking.

Hi Dave,
good stuff!
I'll be heading out that way myself, about a month after you, but not the Anne Beadell.
Good places to swing the detector would also be around Marble Bar and Nullagine, not just further down in the goldfields.

Hope you find plenty of the yellow stuff.

Cheers,
Mike
