Can anyone confirm, with first hand knowledge, that diesel is available at:

1) Parrngurr Aboriginal Community on the edge of Rudall Nat Park

2) Kunawaritji Community near well 33

3) and whether I will or won't need a permit to enter community for fuel (if available)

Thanks
Tony

Kunawarritji.. fuel (& basic provisions) available.. no permit required when I was there last year... Diesel was $1.80/L .. It'll be more this year....

Parnngurr...Mrs. rung them (chap called Tony, 91769009) just a few days ago to inquire about this very thing... was told plenty of diesel, & some basic provisions... No permit required, but they do appreciate if you would ring in advance... There are some tracks within the Rudall R. NP marked on the Hema map as "permit required", but he said that as long as you ask (politely), the residents are fairly flexible & easy-going in this regard...
Hope this helps...

We are planning to be in the area in June/early July (N-S)...

Hi Ed. C.

Thanks for that info. Means we don't have to arrange a fuel drop at well 23.

I will ring that number. We plan to see Rudall Nat Park.

We are leaving NSW June 17. Should be on the CSR a week or so after that. Keep an eye out for a white cruiser with a driver with a grin from ear to ear - that's me!!!

Thanks again
Tony J

We should be out at Ruddall River by the end of this month....weather permitting. Coming across from Alice Springs and then down the CSR for 10 wells
