Guys,
Does anyone know the name of the product that you roll/paint on your panels off the rig prior to departing, and peel it off upon return?
And, has any of you used it before. Does it work??
Thanks for the info in advance!!!
Cheers,
Marc.

The 3M company make a clear material called bodyguard, it is about 1.2mm thick and is invisible one applied to the vehicle. You can scrape a 50 cent piece down the side of the vehicle without damaging the paint. I had it on a 4wd for 4 years until lease expired then peeled it off easily with paint in as brand new condition underneath. Cheers Rob.

Scratch Pro - TJM - I think.
$60/lt last time I looked. Just don't put it on any rubber only metal.
Not sure whether it works but there was a write up in 4wd mthly last year I think which was fairly positive.

AP60 Scratchpro. i bought a can for the price previously mentioned & tried it but I think I was too stingy putting it on. To work effectively, it needs to go on thick which mean probably one can per trip so it would only be used for rough extended trips. Would also peel off a lot more easily if it was thicker. The way I put it on it was a bit like sunburn. You just think your getting a nice run & it breaks away.
