Timing belt

Can any one please tell me how to turn timing belt light off .
Belt done one week ago and light has just come on toyota hilux 2000 model Turbo diesel, it would be a great help

Hi TDlux,
You have to remove the instrument cluster and swap a screw over from one hole to another.

Thats right. Dash has to come out and there is a brass type phillips head screw you have to remove and fit into the hole next to it. If you have a fax I can fax the documentation to you tomorrow from work. You can email me via my website here

a bit of black tape over the light if its just a nuisance thing?
