Footloose
Hi guys. Can anyone tell me what kind of tyres the new cruisers and Nissans have on when delivered to the dealer these days ? (as in before the buyer gets the dealer to put something decent on).
I have the opportunity to obtain some for a decent sized song, but I'm wondering if it's worth my while to start singing :))
TIA as usual.

Hey Footloose,
I would always swap the tyres over before accepting delivery of the car and last time for me was for 100 Series Toyo and I was happy to
shell out an extra 30 bucks a shoe for BF All Terrains 285/75/r16.
The grandtreks are left wanting on anything but bitumen.

Thats a good deal. Toyota basically suggest you throw them out and they can sell you a new set. No suggestion of an upgrade.
I thought you could by a Patrol with Bridgestone AT's on them from the factory which is a great idea. Beats them shipping with those useless HT's.
Cheers,
Glenn.

The grandtreks are crap, however they are good in the sand!LOL But that would be about it. They wear quickly too IMHO.
