Hi
I would like to know what wheels I can fit on a 1990 Nissan Terrano (aka. Pathfinder). I would like to go with either 15x7 with 30 x 10.5 R15 or 16x8 with appropriate tyres as the 215's fitted currently are a bit too skinny for my liking :o)

Will Patrol (GQ or GU) or Landcruiser (80 or 100 series) wheels fit on the Terrano without sticking very far out of the guards ?

Also was thinking about BFG A/T rubber as I have had good experience with these in the past.

Am interested to hear what suggestions people have to offer.

Thanks in advance for your always helpful suggestions.

I fitted 31x10½x15 Goodyear ATR's onto 15x7" rims last year.
The front tyres just rub on the chassis on full lock(only just) so I decided not to change the stop settings as full lock turning circle is not really affected.
They stick out marginally at the rear but I have flares on the front and just the plastic dress trims on the rear. The offset is just about spot on.
The rims (steel) came off a Terrano II and I got them for $20 each at a 2nd hand tyre dealer.
White Sunraysia rims (Navara offset) are perfect for the vehicle but I didn't want white wheels (the TII rims look good and were a lot cheaper).
I have kept the alloys that came with the car but I don't know why?????
Be aware that top gear performance and fuel economy suffers. (I have an auto so through the gears is not too bad).
Combined with a 2" lift it makes the vehicle look right and I don't hit the rocks and wheel rut humps anymore (You know, the ones that the real 4by's clear).

I tried a set of 31x10½x15 Maxxis mudders on it with the white wheels and the clearance was perfect and they looked great but I didn't want mud tyres as the vehicle is our daily driver.
Cheers

I have a new, custom built 3" dump pipe (laser cut flange) for sale to suit the Terrano if you are interested. It will need to be matched to a 2½" exhaust system.
I want $150 for it.
That's my free trader ad for the year!

Your 30x10.5's will fit. As oskar stated the larger you go the harder it is for the 4 to push them, that is presuming that you are running a TD27. Also, if you havn't already, checkout the 95 and older pathfinder forum @ 4x4parts.com, and do a search there, that will give you alot of interesting info on going large on tyre's.

HI Marc
I have a set of 16's off the current navara with 255 x 70 r16 bfg's on mine they look good, picked the wheels up for $250 second hand. The tyres are a little smaller than 31x10.5r15and only10"wide no rubbing
